Food access

Farm to Community Food Share

Local Foods Plymouth is committed to bringing farm-fresh, locally grown, nutritious food to under-served community members experiencing food insecurity. Barriers like transportation, income, and digital access can make healthy food harder to reach.

As part of our neighbor helping neighbor mission, we believe it's our responsibility to be the network that shares our community's harvest. All people have the right to eat healthy — that's why we created the Farm to Community Food Share Program.

How it works

  • Donations are allocated on at least a monthly basis to the organizations below.
  • 12% of your donation supports program operations.
  • The remainder goes directly to providing healthy food for our neighbors.

Who we support

  • The Bridge House Homeless Shelter
  • The Plymouth Area Senior Center
  • Boulder Point Veterans Housing
  • Plymouth Area Community Closet
